Auto Config?
Hey Guy's, do any of you remember a application called AutoEAX? this was a program similar to Radlinker..where in you could assign presets to certain gaems audio apps etc. This app is long gone and Creative never developed it further. I thought i might be cool if there was such a app for KX, where you could link settings to apps. so if you clicked on the file for your audio editir for example it would configure the mixer one way. Clicked on a game it would configure the mixer another. I know you can just double click on setting icons and they reconfigure the mixer. I was thinking of something a little more in depth. What do you programmers think is it possible to make a "AUTOKX" ?

Maybe a kX addon can do that.

So Im thinking - if you can load KX DSP presets - then the app - in say a batch file.. with a menu system?? Or as russ said, a KX addon. Im still not clear on how one would load KX presets via command line arguments tho..?? or if its possible?? Can any experts confirm of deny - or better yet point to examples of doing so? |

You would load the prest file, I was told that if you double click the icon of a preset file it loads that preset, so you could use the command line to run that preset. I was thinking of something simple. I am not a programmer though so I am not sure how hard it would be to implement that kind of thing. I just thought i would be very coold, if say you loaded your winamp and it loaded your music preset, then when you loaded you video player the same thing happened. I think it would be a great little thing to have..
