PC Speaker routing (no output)

I am using 3534f with profx and a minimalistic setup with a SRC/ADC running to MX6 and then to k1lt and ASIO. Where does the PC Speaker signal get routed? I am trying to use the win32 API function called Beep() but I'm not getting any output. I have tried all the SRC buses and I still get nothing.

do you have THAT as an input on your card (connection from mobo to sound card)??

I dont see any provisions in KX for a PC speaker... (edit: nor do I see an phyical connection for a PC speaker on either one of my sound cards) so you need to connect from the mobo's 'pc speaker' output to an imput on the sound card - BUT that signal may be too 'hot' (too big of signal) for a commonly un-used input like the 'TAD mic in' - as well as the LINE in - and would need to be attenuated - and preferable impedance matched.

But I'll continue from there-

Most likely it will be connected to an 'AC97' input - and THAT signal would be availble in the profx/adc plugin.

Additional edit:

I personally would warn against using a sound card to rely on PC 'beeps' as they are also trouble-shooting aids when you cant even boot to BIOS - and if you cant boot to windows - you'll never hear the beeps.

The PC Speaker is usually connected to the motherboard, not the soundcard, and thus would not be handled by kX.

Sorry for the bad post guys... before switching to my SB Live and kX I was used to hearing the PC Speaker sounds through my main speakers because my onboard sound routed it that way.

you could connct the mobo sound line out to the SBLive line in - which actually makes it easier cuz you dont have to worry about converting the signal.
You'd have to make the mobo sound the windows default device to hear the beeps in your program.
