No control over AC97 Codec
Hi
i've got a problem! i cant control the ac97 sources like line-in and mic-in! when i clear everything in the DSP i should hear nothing, or is this assumption wrong? But i still hear the line-in source!!! Another thing is, that i can't find the connection where programms like cooledit and gamevoice record their streams, because i want to filter the stream, before it is recorded! connecteing ac97 directly with recL/recR (epilog) doesnt work! i hope you can help me and thanks in advance morbo |

i think that disconnecting *everything* in the dsp should result in no sound...
but to record AC97 output. you have to connect AC97 left/right (prolog) to one of the IN's on the routing, and then rec l/r on the routing to rec l/r on the epilog. then you have to select AC97 as the recording soure from the record window. hope that helps. |

okay, i've connected ac97L/R (prolog) to In0/1 (Routing) and then RecL/R (Routing) to RecL/R (Epilog)!!!
then i've put a filter between prolog and routing (had no effekt) and then i've tried putting a filter between Routing and Epilog (again no effekt)! Even if nothing is connected, cooledit will record the LineIn (which i've selected in the AC97 Codec)! Why does cooledit record something and wherefrom does cooledit record? |
