spectrum analyzer!

someone posted a thread not long ago, asking for a spectrum analyzer plugin in the dsp, and the reply was that he should find a seperate application to do the job.

well. i disagree. i've just been looking for an FFT spectrum analyser that can analyse INPUT from eg, my livedrive.
i can't find *any* that can do this.

i think it would be very useful for musicians (which is what the kx driver is aimed at afterall) to have an FFT analyser (a decent one which has say 30 bands + a fast refresh rate) in the DSP, that could monitor any output

how about it?
