Really but...
Yes i use mp3gain for normalize my mp3, i normalize to 89dB.
My problem is that i have, tv tuner, mp3 normalized, mp3 recent downloaded with original volume, divx with diferent volumes, etc... In Audigy original drivers i have an effect that normalize in real time all sound. Now, exist any effect similar in kX?? Apoligize my poor english and keep rockin'!! |

Why normalize to 89db insteadk of using the whole thing (99 or 100db?). You could use a compressor plugin to have tv tuner and mp3 sound at the same level or use a stereo mix plugin and control the volumes separately.

yes, to normalize use both compressor & expander, which are real hardware normalizer (one to decrease the sound, one to expand the sound) but you can use it in kX without buy expensive one

settings
most important thing is long attack and release times, lowish threshold (depends on how 'low' your music goes) and reasonable high ratio. Try between EQ and epilog and see how you go. Just becareful of the gain on the compressor.
