@Tiger,
There seems to be a problem with the EFX ReverbStation in 3538m. The 'Bandwidth' display remains "000" regardless of the knob position. The 'Input Level' knob and 'Diffusion' knob sometimes disappears (possibly others too, not sure of the specific steps to recreate). Clicking on any of the led readouts causes the 'Input Level' to change (clicking the input level readout too many times in row, causes kX to crash). I do not recall having this problem previously, but honestly I have not used it all that match because of the resource usage with my 10k1 card (and I do not use reverb much in general ), so I assume this is new to 3538m. In any case, just wanted to let you know of the problem. -Russ Last edited by Russ; Mar 1, 2007 at 05:08 PM. |

Thanks for the info.
I haven't had any problems before. I'll install 3538m and test. Regards M.

Bandwidth setting is at 000 but works. if you click in the number fields, input level changes to 0 or to weird values like 166 or 623% bit it's something less than 100 actually. The disappearing knobs i don't have fortunately. Sometimes the kx Mixer crashes. Don't know if this is because of Reverbstation. If i reopen the Mixer my dsp settings remain the same as before the crash. |

No disappearing knobs for me either. But I suspect it may have caused a kXMixer crash or 2 - but I cant be certain. |

The disappearing knobs thing happens only under certain circumstances, so you guys probably have just not noticed it as of yet.
I was not able to figure out all the specifics with that, but here is one example: Load Reverbstation. Open its tweak window. Click on the Output Level LED (Input Level changes to 250). Minimize the tweak window. Restore the tweak window (Input Level knob is gone). Clicking the area around where the knob is supposed to be, or on one of the LED's brings it back. I am not sure of the steps to make the other knob disappear, and (IIRC) it was not so easy to get back when it disappears (without unloading/relaoding the plugin). Ok heres some weirdness - I was able to get it to disappear - but I had to click on the 'Decay Time Display' to get it to change the input level to '285'
- clicking on the output level display caused the input level display to read '333' - and the input level knob did not disappear... Hmm - does the first digit need to be a 2 in order for the knob to disappear ?? - its how it *seems* to me... but yeah its weird how clicking so many places in the GUI will cause input level to change. (I never did it before - as I never expected anything to change from that action) But the knob comes back for me easy enough so far. |
