Applying effects on incoming (mic/line-in) signals
What I'd like to do seems fairly simple to me: I'd like the incoming signal from either mic or line in ports to be processed before recording. For example - a microphone is connected to the mic in, from there it goes through a compressor and THEN goes to recording (audio editor, skype or whatever).
I appologize if this has been asked before, unfortunately I don't have enough time to browse through this forum. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

Unmute the AC97 slider on the Ins and Outs page of kxmixer.
Mute the AC97 slider on the Recording page of kxmixer. Select the AC97 recording source (i.e. Mic or Line In) on the AC97 page of kxmixer. In the DSP Window, connect the top 2 pins of prolog to the desired effects, and then from the final effect in the chain, to the RecL/RecR pins of epilog. See the following thread for beginner guides, etc: kX Resources and Support Documentation |

I would like to do the same with an audigy 2 platinum using aux2 rca plugins, which connections would I use in the DSP so that cooledit pro can see 0/1 with the effects for recording.
Thank You |
