HI,
I have an Emu Aps with the breakeout box, within logic I can record inputs 1+2 (on the card) but inputs 3+4 cannot be recorded even though logic recognizes thet there is inputs 3+4. I know this is because I have not set up the dsp routing etc in the KX mixer. IThe only problem is that I havent a clue ho to do this, it seems so complicated to me and im very technical minded!! Is there anyone out there who can send me a mixer setting file? THANK YOU, OLIVER. |

To the extent of my knowledge, there is just one place where the 3/4 inputs can be located in the KX DSP, they should be represented by a certain pair of connectors on the "prolog" unit.
Sadly I don't know exactly which pair...but it shouldn't be too dificult for you to discover, connect each line on prolog one at a time to the epilog 1/2 (speakers out) until you can hear what you're trying to record. (Beware with feedback though, if you're recording a live mic...) Then connect this pair to ASIO 3/4 (or WDM) inputs in epilog and you should be done... Or if you want...take a look at my setups page: http://www.internet.com.uy/rere/main/index.htm I didn't do them on an APS card (a simple SBLive OEM is what I own) but there shouldn't be a great difference in the connections. Good Luck Gonzo |

try all the 16 kx inputs one-by-one
note that a3/a4 aren't located on 'kx in 3' & 'kx in 4', but, probably, on 'in 8' and 'in 9' /Eugene |
