Connecting midi signals.
Hello!
I've recently switched back to windows after using ubuntu studio and just realized the power of Kx (I used it for a long itme before when using windows, but just for asio support). I got kinda used to using the Jackd interface and found it's features for connecting midi ins and outs between different programs very convenient. So I'm wondering if it's possible to route midi connections from one program to another using the kx dsp. Basicly I'm trying to connect FL Studio midi out to the ZynAddSubFX synthesizer. Is there an easy way to do this, or maybe a plugin/external program to help with this. |

Midi Yoke and Midi OX can do this:
MIDIOX Tho, not sure if it works in WinVista ?? Btw - kX DSP has little to do with the UART MIDI ports kX provides/supports. |

Cool, thanks for the prompt reply. I'm not worried that it doesnt work in Vista, it would take the wrath of god to make me switch to Vista
. XP is where it's at.I've heard about latency issues with midi yolk/ox so I was hoping that Kx would be able to route midi channels. |

Oh - no need, get the VST version and use in a DAW / ASIO host and avoid the midi routing problems.
