15 to 30 Band eq

Anyone in the process of making one of these?
How hard would it be to modify the current 10band eq upto 15 or 30?

I am in the process of trying to get the components both hardware and software, to make car audio multimedia player using a Live! or Audigy. The KxProject drivers are perfect to emulate the functions of the high quality decks available (eg. Alpine 7998). Such functions include 15band eq, crossover functions on each channel, time alignment features. The thing worrying me at the moment would be the sound quality between a high Sound quality deck, and this multimedia player.
If the components and soundquality is right, then the next step will be to endeavour on creating a custom interface to control this player. At the moment it looks like this would mean interfacing with the Kxdrivers (DSP feature). But that is a little while away - i will start extensive testing on the SQ in the upcoming weeks to see if it is viable.

I have also been looking for a 1/3rd octave eq (30 odd band) per chanel. This is the standard in studios and allows one to do amazing things. Though 20 odd parametric would be almost as useful. I have been looking for a parametric EQ plugin for a while and have come up empty-handed. Any pointers?

Yes, an EQ with more bands would definitely help me fine tune the sound in my home studio, correcting unwanted frequencies etc...

Try this: http://kxdev.narod.ru/ufx/ufxsetup.34.exe

Its a pack made by Max M. It contains a the Reverb R (really good) a 5 parametric Eq in Cubase style, Graphic eq, and more. All of them are really goods and posibly the future of the kX plugins. Cheers, Nando
