Need a headphone plugin, any body help me?

hi there, i need a plugin that can get 5 channels mixed to headphone, i used this http://www.hardwareheaven.com/effects-...converter.html before, but seems it cant work in ver 3541.

Is there any better solutions?

There is the HPhSp plugin...

but i am using sb live..................not enough dsp.................

Why do you think that the other plugin will not work in 3541? It is a .da plugin and as such should work with any version of kX.

yeah - such things are kinda resource hogs - maybe this one can work..??

for all I know its the same thing (same resource useage??) ?? work a try.

The only other work around is to remove plugins from the DSP to free up some resources, or get a 10K2 based card that offers more resources.

edit: you can simply set surrounder to 2.0 - surround ON - it will downmix to stereo - not in a 'virtual surround' way - but it should work anway. /edit

how about "cnv51to20" ? only 14 registers. and it's kx's own plugin.

I'm kind of new to kx, but I've been playing with "cnv51to20" and it seems to work pretty well. Anyone know the difference between that and surrounder+ (other than support for 7.1 vs only 5.1)?

cnv51to20 only downmixes 5.1 to 2.0 with some volume adjustments, while surrounder adds delay to add spacing in sound
