A basic 24-bit playback DSP setup?
Hello,
Could anyone show me how to setup my Audigy 2 DSP for 24-bit 48kHz playback? I'm pretty comfortable with the DSP, but I always use the ProFX SRC and k2lt plugins. I understand I'll need to use the FXBusX plugin for 24 bit playback - is that right? Thanks! |

No, Lex Updated profx for 24 Bit.
ProFx Version 3.x Note the Aug 2008 Update... Woot!!... 24 Bit ASIO is my new 'normal' in Sonar. |

Thanks for the quick reply. So does this mean a simple SRC->k2lt DSP setup will give me 24 bit output? No FXBusX or ASIO or anything else needed?

Re: A basic 24-bit playback DSP setup?
Quote:
SRC > ASIO - (DAW Recording) - Records true 24 bit But, because I have no way to verify what is actually coming *out* of the sound card, and I can only verify a recorded track - I am not certain that *true* 24 bit comes out thru kXLt (or Epilog.. for that matter). But it is my understanding that is sipposed to be. |
