Automating *.kx Changes

Hi all,

So...here is a question. Is there any way to change the DSP on the fly via midi or some other protocol? Say for instance have an external program, or even better, a MIDI controller change the DSP setup (load an effects setup, DSP synth setup, a DAW specific setup.) Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Automating *.kx Changes

You can use kX Automation to change DSP plugin settings via MIDI.

You can use kX command line switches to load a saved config.
i.e.
Code:
kxmixer --shell --load-settings C:\Program Files\kX Audio Driver\MyConfigs\SomeConfig.kx
You can use kxctrl.exe to do various things (open kX Console and type "?" for help).

Also, there is the kX SDK, which can be used to create you own programs to control certain aspects of kX (see the source code for kxctrl in the SDK for an example).
