Plugins for environmental simulation effects?

Like with most integrated sound cards and Creative drivers etc. there's usually these possibilities to select different effects like "Bathroom", "Church", "Mountains" etc. Is there any such plugins or is there any way to get similiar sounds with kX drivers? For some songs or especially performances on youtube or AMVs I like to listen with effects like "auditorium" or "concert hall" as it simply becomes a more rich listening experience.

Yes - look at Liveware/CLEAX4Reverb. And be sure to choose plugin 'presets' - the tweak slider is not intuitive.

Re: Plugins for environmental simulation effects?

Too bad it complaints about "No more free iTRAM memory". I tried removing 4 - 5 other plugins and still the same. I've got a SoundBlaster Audigy (1), any chance for a less demanding similiar plugin?

Naa - its the only one that has various presets...
Try removing the Reverb and chorus plugins - they are likely the iTram users.

Yep you were right, removing those 2 let me use that plugin. Cool I'll just have 2 settings I swap between then depending what I'm doing.

Wish I could change the level of those effects tho... most of them are very exaggerated and like you said the slider doesn't work very well either.

You may want to try mixing the output with dry source audio to tone down the effect (a DIY 'effect Dry/wet' level) - I imagine it was designed with this idea in mind.

Re: Plugins for environmental simulation effects?

The CLEAX2Reverb also has built-in presets and uses less resources, but it's input is mono (IIRC, the presets are closer to the Creative settings than is the CLEAX4Reverb). Also, there is the "Reverb R" plugin that is part of Max M's UFX plugin pack, which is a fully configurable reverb plugin.
