Ответ: Filter "warping" nearing the Nyquist Frequency
>do you mean balances as in alternating + and - gain
yes, with "interleave higher and lower gain bands" i mean alternating boost and cut gains. >log(freq)*bandwidth*log(abs(gain)) :/ lol lol. well, to sort it out i think i need to stress that in most cases the difference between alt. ordering of the filters is too subtle to care of it at all. >Do you have any suggestions to check out (exemplary setups) yeah, sorry, i was meaning "i'd be interested to take a look at some of your setups"

Re: Filter "warping" nearing the Nyquist Frequency
I would love to show you my kX setups however I am back at school (I was at home setting things up during spring break)... I use the kX drivers on my laptop however I am running windows 7 and cannot load kxmixer :/ may go back to vista in a few days, if so ill post some screen shots. The ideas learned here have been applied to my other DSP's though
In my apartment I use a Crown USM-810 matrix mixer/EQ/processor to run my stereo and I just re-programmed it to use a more logical gain/eq structure. I could take some pictures if you wish the whole system is a bit overboard for a college apt. however I like my deep bass and clear highs My moving back up has been the reason behind the delay in my response btw. If you want to try out my Ear-eq for yourself I can give you the values needed; it requires 3 EQ-P5's (11 parametric filters) I'd post em now but I don't have the converted values here, be happy to convert em if ya want though!
