(win7 64) double clicking on FXmixer hangs system.

in win7 64 i can no longer add FXmixer 1 and 2. as trying to open their menu cause the driver to hang, taking along with it, the OS. just wondering if anyone knows why?

i am able to use mixy to replace it without any problem. the rest of DSP work great and the lost of a few GPRs from using mixy is no big deal, might as well enjoy the addition of peak meters!

great driver.

Do any other plugins have the same problem?

I think FxMix/FxMix2 is a .da only plugin, in which case the GUI is automatically created by kX. Maybe there is a bug within that code (under x64), but if that is the case, it should happen with other .da only plugins too. Have you tried plugins like: Vol, St Vol, Delay A, or Delay B?

I have the same problem too. SB0350, win 7 x64. It happens to more than one plugin, bun not all of them.

(As I indicated in my previous post) I think it would be helpful if you guys listed which plugins (aside from FxMix) have this problem.

for me it was FXMix, Delay A, Delay B, Reverb Lite, microwah-wah v1.0
from what i have tried and remembered
(vol, st vol, 10bandEQ, surounder+, peak and many others worked fine)

..when i opened settings of this plugins it always eaten 100% of my ram and 100% of my pagefile .. when i disabled pagefile everything was working fine. also have win7 64

Hmm, so I guess it is not related to the auto gui stuff...

In any case, thanks for listing the plugins.
