DSP Problem
SOLUTIONFOUND NOISE DISTORTION LOOK AT MY LAST POST
Hi Im using Windows7 x64 and a Soundblaster (sb0102) When i activate "Suround" (on) in the "Surounder+" window. The next time i start my pc i hear a funny shudering noise when music plays. The only thing that hepls if i reintialize the DSP. Afterwards i need to active Suround again. Please help me, thanks guys! greetings, ozzi Last edited by ozzi789; Mar 16, 2010 at 05:43 PM. |

There were some threads around about smth similar. AFAIK it deals with tweakin UAC and registry. Unfortunately I can't say anything more definite since i dont use win7.

i guess thats the thing, but its polnish or whatever i cant really read it, il try that reg entery, its that the driver loads on startup afaik, so the dsp should be reinitalized.. well il try and post the result later brb&thnx ^^ lawl this sucks so hard xD change the regedit entry \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run\kX Mixer from C:\Program Files\kX Audio Driver\3550\kxmixer.exe --startup (or what ever version you got (3550 in my case)) to "C:\Program Files\kX Audio Driver\3550\kxmixer.exe" --startup !!! now it somehow startsup nice, and i got no cripply noise in the background when playing sound, meh ftw! thanks 4 ur help Last edited by ozzi789; Mar 16, 2010 at 05:41 PM. !!today after three restarts since yesterday (where the sound was good) i had the same problem again... anybody some ideas? i guess il need to say good bye and buy a new card ((
