Center frequency f0

Hi.

Is please center frequency f0, the cross-over's frequency in Hz?

Please what kind of a cross-over is integrated with the EQ Peaking plug-in?

An 4th-order one?

Re: Center frequency f0

I think you are confused with your terminology...

PeakingEQ does not have any integrated crossover. Crossover is a separate plugin.
Most of the EQ plugins are 2nd Order (BiQuads), but IIRC, the Phat EQ plugins are 4th order, and there is both 2nd order and 4th order crossover plugins (and they are named as such).

PeakingEQ provides a (bell shaped) boost or cut at a specific frequency (the center frequency (Hz)) .
A crossover basically splits an audio signal into separate frequency bands (so that you could redirect those frequencies where you want (e.g. low frequencies to a subwoofer, etc)).

Re: Center frequency f0

Please is there any plugin that takes 1 in and gives 2 out, like a reverted Mono Mix?

In general there is no need for such a plugin because a plugin's output can be connected to multiple places.

Aside from the above, I do not recall if kX includes any such plugins (I do not have kX installed at the moment)...

Re: Center frequency f0

Hmm, well again I do not have kX installed at the moment, so I cannot look at the plugin, but (IIRC) you specify the distances relative to the listener (i.e. your head).

There are 3 possible distances:
left/right
front/back
above/below (height)

I would guess that z represents (height) above/below (e.g. if your speakers are at same hight as your head, then the distance would be 0).
