Re: 10 band Eq not working
Ok, as I'm a bit confused as to how to do that arrangement you told me to, this is a picture of my current one:

Re: 10 band Eq not working
It works!!!!!!!!!! It works!!!!!!! The 10 Band Eq finally works!!!! I've used all of your recommendations and it now works!!!!! Thank you!!!!
The Surrounder and the FXMix2 don't seem to work though but I can see movement on the Peak now!! |

rafa79 : The colored text in my previous post was a link to a picture showing what I was explaining.
Just click the colored text saying "Imageshack - dsp.png" and you will see the picture. Last edited by blitter2; Sep 24, 2011 at 09:01 PM. |

![]() With a stereo only setup (not using Master Mixer), Surrounder+ really does not do a whole lot... You might just want to unload it to free up some DSP resources for other things. As for FxMix2, if you are going to leave it with nothing connected (no effects) to it, you might as well unload it too. Hopefully the bug with Master Mixer will get sorted out in the next realease of kX, making things a little less complicated/confusing. |

Re: 10 band Eq not working
What 'bout this "Master Mixer" ?
Why is it SO necessary? With Kx Project driver compatible hardware one has such IMMENSE control over the sound field to such a degree that its staggering.

Re: 10 band Eq not working
"Master mixer" is part of Windows...... It's the default output device unless you select otherwise.

Re: 10 band Eq not working
AFAIK, Master Mixer (in Vista/7) is basically kX Wave 0/1, not sure why a different name is used in Vista/7 (in XP, Master Mixer was the name of the playback section of the Windows Mixer for kX Wave 0/1).
