On board DSP

err... it's een a while.. there seem to be few changes to this forum. hmm.. anywaz... KX saved me a lotta dough when i discovered their ASIO drivers.. so i can now pay n record off tape.. good scece

what i just realized was that my creative SBlive has onboared DSP. Which i dont know anything about. So enlighten me pleaz. also is it possible to use this chip frm within my VST applet. that would really make my very sloggy comp pretty ok for the time being.

That's exactly what the KX DSP page of KX mixer does: make hardware DSP effects, that can even be controlled from an external midi device available...
