Applying effect only on the signal for the MIC

Hello, i want to apply an EQ only on the signal that coming from the MIC, because i need to record a bassy voice of someone, and i want to reduce the bass LIVE, in real time. Which changes should i do in the DSP window, and how? Im kinda newbie, so, try to do it as simple as it can be. Thanks!

BTW - MY soundcard is SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 Value

Connect AC97 stereo out (Prolog) through your DSP efects to Rec inputs or ASIO inputs (Epilog). To anable signal monitoring, connect DSP efects outs to front speakers (Epilog). Unmute AC97 and choose MIC as source.

Do not unmute MIC else you will get raw signal from microfon. I still do not know how to change the signal volume - try AC97 faders.
BTW, this is my question to everybody. Wy the raw mic signal is available on front speakers when ALL connections are REMOVED from DSP router?
