Adding effects to DSP
Hi All,
I'm totally new kX user. I've been suffering under CL original drivers for too long. kX is a relief. But , of course I still do not get it quite wright. It looks pretty complex, especially DSP routing. Mainlly, I'm using my PC for Sonar made music (do not need too much of inputs). And I'm interested how to put some good effects to DSP. The default Reverb and Chorus are not always what I need. As soon as I want to add new effects, they are not registred or there's not enough TRAM memory. When I register effects, not all of them are registred. And what capacity do I have; do I need to unload one of two default effects (or both) in order to add new ones. I have PIII 450MHz, 384 MB of RAM, WXP and LIVE Value. Now, I know it is not a killing machine, but with CL EAX I could add more then default reverb and chorus. THNX |

If you starting from a default Dsp setup, removing reverb and chorus will give you more memory to work from. Also check the info on each plugin by right clicking on it and that will show you how much memory the plugin takes to use.

just remove everything except fxbus and epilogue. then connect pins 1 and 2 from the fxbus to the first 2 of the epilogue. now play around.
