Recording EQ on aux?
Hi!
I have a signal on my aux-in on my Audigy that I want to use an EQ to filter the signal from some unwanted noise. It works great (i have put an EQ peak between 'AC97(in01) and in0,in1 on the xrouting, but I can only hear the EQ'd signal, but not reqord the signal with the EQ on it, only without effects. What am I doing wrong? ps. I'm NOT recording with ASIO. I'm using the 'standard windows' recording, through a tv card program called 'iu-vcr' Last edited by trimtram; Nov 16, 2003 at 01:47 PM. |

Hi,
If you place the EQ between routing and epilog instead, it will be recorded (but not heard, dependning on how you connect the cables) Routing (xrouting) and epilog has recL and recR. Place the EQ between those. Cheers Soeren |

It doesn't work
![]() If I delete the connections (recL, recR), between the xrouting and the epilog, it still records my audio strange!

Well, have you touched something in the mixer?
Just load defaults, activate the AC97 slider in section "Ins&Outs", choose Line In as source in section "AC97", and go to the DSP. In the DSP put the EQ before the outputs of the prolog (0/1). Then conect his outputs directly to RecL/RecR, et voila. If you want to hear the sound, conect the outputs to the normal inputs in Routing too. |
