Let me put this straight:
Can I somehow use KX effects on Samples in my Fruity Loops song? I know this might be lame, but I really don't know how to do this simple way, meaning, any way. The hole technology, please from A to Z...

I’m new to the kx drivers, but I’ll give this a go. (I’m doing this from memory too, so I may have some of the terminology wrong)
You can use the kx fx in Fruity, but you obviously won’t be able to render directly – you’ll have to record first. I’m also presuming you’re running a 2 speaker setup (it simplifies things). 1. Ensure that FL is outputting to the KX ASIO driver in FL’s audio settings dialogue 2. Check to see that FL’s master FX channel is outputting to ASIO 0/1 3. Add your sample and set it to a free FX channel, say ‘1’ 4. Set that channel’s output to ASIO 2/3 5. Select another free FX channel, say ‘2’, and set that channel’s INPUT to ASIO 4/5 Hopefully you can start to see what we’re trying to achieve. We’re going to connect up ASIO2/3 to ASIO4/5 inside kx’s DSP window and place your effect in between. Then when the sample plays in FL, it is output via FL’s FX1 to ASIO2/3 then to the effect, which feeds ASIO4/5, which is piped back into FL’s FX2. It then gets routed to FL’s Master FX channel and out of FL on ASIO0/1 (Phew!) 6. Open the kx Mixer and launch the DSP window. 7. We’re going to start from scratch, so right click on each object, and ‘unload’. (Don’t worry – you can easily restore the default layout – right-click on an empty bit of screen and select ‘reinitialize DSP’) 8. First thing we need is an Epilog plugin – right click, and select insert plugin etc. Hover your mouse over the inputs and it will tell you what they are – you need to find the 2 that you use to output your sound – my speakers are hooked up to the generic spdif left and right. 9. Next insert an FX bus 10. Next thing you need to know is that, by default, the output from ASIO0/1 is piped to FX0/1, ASIO2/3 to FX2/3 etc. (These can be changed using the kx Router window) 11. Connect the top two outs on the FX bus (FX0 and 1) to the two ins you identified in the Epilog Now, FL should work – try it. 12. Now add an effect plugin. Connect its ins to FX2/3 (ASIO2/3) and its outs to ASIO4/5 (these can be found on the Epilog) Bingo! If it does work you can save your kx settings too. If you’re having trouble identifying which ins on the Epilog to use, load up the default layout, play some music, then disconnect the ins one by one from the top until you find the right pair (most of the ins are not used if you’re running a 2 speaker system (like me)). If you record FL’s FX channel 2, you’ll get the sample plus the kx effect. This DEFINITELY works on my system, so let me know if you have problems – I’ve probably made some mistakes. Good Luck!
