Can Someone please help me with DSP
I'm very new to this KX driver, it looks very interesting, but I can't seem to set up my DSP correctly.
I'm running KX Driver 3536, Windows XP Pro, SB Live 5.1 and I sequence in Cubase SX 2.01. I only have a 2.1 speaker setup tho. I need to find a good setup that enables me to record in Cubase SX 2 to the SB Live. I mainly use VSTi's and some effects. I have tried a few things but to no avail. I have Cubase set to - KX ASIO / 48 Khz. I'm pretty sure that is correct. Please help me someone, I've tried searching the forum for a picture of how to set this DSP up, but only found 1 that didn't work for me...Anyone have a good link to this setup i'm looking for? Thanks in advance, Derrik |

I've searched high and low on this forum, but nothing seems to help with what i'm trying to do.
I need a basic DSP setup that will allow me to record my VSTi's in Cubase SX 2.01. I've tried a few setups that I have found on here, and they just don't work for recording midi... I can hear what I play but I just can't record what I am playing. Please, anyone want to share their DSP setup with me that is using Cubase SX and able to record midi? I't would be very appreciated, since I have been trying on my own and just can't seem to get it correct Thanks, Derrik |

DSP is NOT for midi. EMUk1 is sample-based processor
![]() Set in Cubase your input device as kX UART (or "kX control", I don't remember), then press Record and start playing on your midi-keyboard. You will have your midi-messages recorded. |

Estarriol,
Thanks very much!! I have been looking and trying different setups for a few days now without any success. Your reply was exactly what I was doing wrong. I'm not used to these Kx Drivers, all I know is the Latency is just amazing with them, and I had to keep trying things to get it recording midi, I just didn't know how. Thanks again very much Estarriol, I'm a very happy man now Derrik |
