b2b, FxBus8/9 louder
After reading the 'Problem with FXBus1' post, I decided to make some simply tests.
I've noticed that only FxBus 8/9 has the oryginal (right) dynamics. It's very easy to get during recording. During playback, 8/9 is definitely louder than 0/1, 4/5 or 6/7. Why? Am I getting the same data, sending signal from FxBus to WinMM recording without b2b? I have SBLive 5.1 chip rev.7. Is it any sense to use b2b plugin? PITmaster |

FxBus8/9 louder than others. Plz why?
Only 8/9 send signal with oryginal volume during DSP recording (FxBUS->RecL/R). What's going on with others? PITmaster |

perhaps, you are using Win9x/WinME
there's a bug in Win9x audio core (or kX implementation) that causes all Wave output devices, except 'Wave 8/9', to introduce a '-6dB attenuation' search the forum for details /E |

so to fix that you simply reduce the volume for wave 8/9 by 6db?

I've read your answer today but the reason of my problems I found yesterday evening. Besides kX3537final installation during win98 is very uncertain. But thanx for your answer. PITmaster |
