problems adding effects to kx

Hi,
I've just installed kx on machine and i have problems adding effects, particularly UFX.
After installing it as after adding some other modules I downloaded, it says "successfully registered 1 plugins" and nothing happens. The plug in doesn't appear in my effectsw menu... with the ufx it was the same I started the setup it restated my kx and then nothin new appeared in the effects menu... Do i have to downgrade to earlier version or what?

If you never open the DSP window, you're never going to see the effects. In other words, openning that and going through it's menu will answer your question for you. Not to mention, the help file can be a big help when just starting off with these drivers
