dsp trouble
i have 2 problems:
1. guitar fx box doesn't work well since i installed kxdrivers 2. i connected my guitar to the mic-in of my sblive! then i opened dsp window. i tried to apply effect loading the autowah plug in, connecting it to FXMix2 and xRoutes (as reverb is connected as default), but nothing changed. if i move the reverb or chorus faders in the mixer, it happens the same: nothing. please help me. i don't wanna reinstall creative official drivers, but i need these effects. thank you |

you can connect thw autowah plugin straight after the ac-97 input… but sliders in the mixer have no effect

are you trying to say that i can't listen live the plug-in effects? if not, or else, please, explain step by step what must i do to apply autowah to the sound of my guitar.
thanx again. |

alright in the DSP, load the autoway plugin connect the ac-97 input from the prolog to the effect, and then connect that to the ASIO input, or xrouter fx channel input

ok, man, i've done what you told me, and picked up my headphones, then i played my guitar, but the sound is always the same. i think i'm really breaking your balls, sure i'm not a computer wizard, but this problem is frightening me.

iTRam is internal Tank RAM and is fixed for your card. There are also iTRam registers used to access the iTRam memory, and them also are fixed.
SBLive! has 128 iTRam registers and 8192 samples of iTRam memory. Audigy cards should have 192 iTRam registers and twice the iTRam mem of SBLive! (correct me, I have no audigy cards, maybe I said a lie). The only thing that can be changed is xTRam memory, since it is external Tank RAM: the card uses your PC memory (a small amount: you can set up to 1 Million of samples, that it is 2 MB of ram), but the default setting of 256 kb are enough for most users. Note that dsp modules use iTRam and xTRam as they want, not as you want!
