digital signal in with no resampling ct4830
Hi!
is there any way i could get a *exact* copy of a digital-in signal (coming from an usb device) at 44k or 48k? i have a live value ct4830, so i dont have a digital-in jack, but i can use the s/pdif input but then the signal gets resampled and altered. any ideas, please? could it be done with some repatching/routing in the asio section? thanks, Csabi |

No,
unfortunately not for this card. 10k2 cards with I2S on AUD_EXT only have that ability. All other digital inputs are resampled on the card before passing the DSP - this is an hardware issue. The only way to record bit to bit is to use the DIRECT SPDIF RECORDING - mode in kx-mixer (if available for your card), which is currently only working with WinMM-recording applications (not ASIO). Greetings! TravelRec.
