Setting up the mic with Logic Audio
Firstly, apologies because I aprpeciate this must be a really simple issue!
I've got Logic Audio running great now using ASIO but I can't seem to get Logic (or any other audio software for that matter) to pick up the MIC. I've greated a new SRC object and tweaked that to go to AC97 mic and then connected it directly to FXMix in2_l and in2_r (the other 4 are in use by the FX Bus) and that inturn is connected to the Epilog. The sound from the microphone is playing back through my computer speakers suggesting that it is being picked up by the card but I can't get Logic to hear it in an audio track. I can't record in CoolEdit, Cakewalk or Soundforge either. It's almost certainly a dodgy DSP connection on my part, any tips would be gratefully recieved! Many thanks, Martin |
