Can you send AC97 different ways

Okay sorry if this is a dumb question, im at an information overload right now. I just got my dsp set up and have been playing around with stuff, can you send different parts of the ac97 to different things? like send the line in to asio 1, mic to asio 3, cd to asio 5 etc... or is the ac97 like the ADC of the card so you cant split it up?

you can't split the AC97 codec unless you have an audigy series board, then you can route the Line in to the second ADC on the card, leaving AC97 free for one other stereo input
