Yes, they are redundant and they shouldn't show up in SRC.
Hmm,... what card? 10k1 based or 10k2?

10k2 based on two cards

however i should probably say that i misread earlier, the only one that's there is ac972/line2, which is still part of the ADC anyway right?

I thought I had explained that already.
Anyway, yes a mx8 would be nice but kX API has a limit of ~64 parameters per plugin.
Since I use a trick to store the Edit Label characters as parameters in the preset,
and the fact that MX6 itself already has 40 controls (= 40 parameters),
I can't squeeze an extra 2 channels out of it unless I dump the channel labels.

Eugene has added some extra storage feautures but IIRC they
reside in KXGUI which I dont use.

However, I may still have some trick up my sleave to solve this,
but it would be easier (for me) if Eugene increases the max num of params.

Aha, No, ac972/line2 is on extension board/bay/drive.
So SRC behaves correct then.

if that's the case, there's also a listing for "Line2/Aux2" which is what i though would be the extension bay port

Ok LeMury, if the previous APS bug was in the SRC then kXlt has always been ok, just that kind of a deja-vu I had and I related it to that old bug. If anything I can tell you that the installer version you released (2.1beta) listed A7/A8 twice in the list but otherwise worked ok.

Hmm,..now you got me doubting
and you could be right there.
Hmm,..Why the heck did I leave it there if that is UDA? (i'm getting old)
I'll look into it when I put back in some 10k2 card.

Nice work LeMury. I like the new GUI, (and that minimized plugin thing bugged me too, so I am glad you changed that behavior).

Good stuff

ADC is missing the TAD input (not that I really use it or anything).

Ok, but apart from the wrong labels, the outputs do work,.. right?

Anyway, here's an updated version to support APS;
http://members.home.nl/nahutec/kxplu...roFx_v3.01.zip

It contains both release and debug version.
If it works correctly for APS,
- kXlt should not display DOO switch
- preset list is empty
- has 1 "Not Used" output
- Micro code dump should read:
macints tmpl, 0x0, Out1L, 0x1;
macints tmpr, 0x0, Out1R, 0x1;
on the first two code lines.

Please let me know if it works (or not)!!

Hi LeMury,

I just did a clean install of 3538J and the new ProFx. I can't open any of the plug-ins, either by double-clicking or right-click-tweak. I can get the other plug-ins to open and the original ProFx works. I can't figure out why, everything was fine before with 3538h and the newer Pro FX. Anyone else have this problem? I tried with both the release and debug versions, same result. I tried resetting device, and re-installed twice, still can't open the plug-ins.

I'm using the SB0060 with Win2k SP4.

Thanks,

Pierre

Please wait untill other win2k users report the same ok?

confirmed, hooked both the SRC set to AC97.2/Line2 and the ADC;s UDA outputs to seperate peakmeters, and ran a signal into the line in port on my audigy 2

both peak meters were identical

I'll confirm it's related to Win2k (see thread above).I just tried the plug-ins on a WinXP lite set-up on another hard drive and they opened up no problem, and fast too I noticed. They look great. I hope you can fix this. Many thanks.

OK, so theoreticly we can remove AC97.2/Line2 from SRC.
Still wondering why I left it there in the firts place though.
Probably just forgot about it.
Thanks for the checking.

By now I had tasted the outs with 3.0. They work fine also with 3.01. Still I couldn't test A7/A8, sorry. I've got nothing connected to them and would have to open the case, pull out the card and mess with those little GND pins, that gets me a little nervous at 3:00 AM. I'll try sometime later, or maybe someone with a MOC card to test?

Oh and thank you for the extra work of removing DOO and the new "Not Used" entry. Wasn't really needed at all.

About the Microcode Dump, I think I get something different:

Code:
; Code
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x0),  0x0,  Out1L,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x1),  0x0,  Out1R,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x2),  0x0,  Out2L,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x3),  0x0,  Out2R,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x4),  0x0,  Out3L,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x5),  0x0,  Out3R,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x6),  0x0,  Out4L,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x7),  0x0,  Out4R,  0x4;
	 macints 	 tmpl,  0x0,  Out5L,  0x1;
	 macints 	 tmpr,  0x0,  Out5R,  0x1;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x11),  0x0,  Out6L,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x12),  0x0,  Out6R,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0xa),  0x0,  Out7L,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0xb),  0x0,  Out7R,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x8),  0x0,  tmpl,  0x4;
	 macints 	 KX_OUT(0x9),  0x0,  tmpr,  0x4;

end

@miquel;
Microcode is ok, and no need to rip open you PC at 3.00 am.
So does kXlt now display the correct APS Output names?

Yes, the GUI looks nice with the buttons, but I have to say I miss the LED indicators as in the .3537 or .3538H versions for channel Record, Main, an Enable and such. But thanks a bunch LeMury, we have a great ProFX pack with a great full driver installation package. And, I'm grateful!

Yes, those color thingies give a more direct visual feedback on switch state.
However I must draw some 'Leds' first that match with the rest/background.
(and boy,.. do I hate that drawing)
