Please Lex, make nevertheless please your ProFX Plugins compatibly more driver with that for 3547 x64. I am not certainly only that wish myself. I cannot without your great Plugins.

As soon as I get a x64 machine.
(I could do cross compilation on a 32-bit machine but I don't like not beeing able to test/debug the binaries myself)

Haha, me too. I won't really consider upgrading until I know profx works with the latest version... it's invaluable to me!

Now when x64 driver is available the only thing that stops me from upgrading to x64 OS is the ProFX plugins.

Hello Lex,

Using your plugin since a long time, I never had any problem. Very usefull stuff !
A new kx driver version has been released a few days ago (3549, for native compatibility with Win7) wich is no longer compatible with ProFX ...

That's the same thing with the Uniform plugin by Max ...

Every good processing depends on those two plugins, and without any update, anybody won't be able to fully use kx under seven. (Found a solution with the builtin 7 compatibility mode, installing 3545b on xp mode, and running kxmixer on vista mode, but no asio is working this day)

Hello, i am currently using 3549. Profx isn't compatible with this, i downgraded to 3541 to test Profx. I was satisfied with the ADC dsp, so i can setup 2 Stereo Line ins with your Plugin, i hope you decide soon as it is possible to update your great Profx Plugin

As soon as I buy a x64 capable machine.
Probably when Win7 is officially released and comes pre-installed/included instead of Vista. (is cheaper that way I guess/hope)

Yes, I can also confirm that the new ProFx bundle works with 3549 x86 (Windows XP PRo SP3).
If Lex did not change anything in the code - then probably there will be no deep hidden bugs also (I have no time to deep examine at the moment).

Indeed, no major code changes.
Just kX compatibility stuff, so ProFx users should be 'good' for the next year or so

Use the 3545 version (ProFx v3.10 for 3545 - link is in first post of this thread) for 3545.

Thanx Russ, I just installed it and it seems to work fine and it looks awsome. I especially love the MX6 because of the classic mixer structure with two master busses and two sends.
It has been said before, but anyhow: Lex you´re a hero. Great job!!

I havn´t read the entire thread but i´m wondering how much resources all those peakmeters use. Is it negligible, or would it make sense to still have the old Mx6 without the peaks for some setups.
Wouldn´t it be relatively easy to add pre/post switches to the sends?

Is there any dspload display plugin for kx?

Peak meters use 1 GPR per signal, so MX6's peak meters use 16 GPRS.

I have problems with clicks in the latest 3550 x64. Somebody said that using ProFX is a cure for this. Now, Lex is saying that his releases are only for 32bit. 3550 x64 comes with included ProFX plugins. Are these 64bit? I tried using them, k2lt works as a replacement for epilog. But src won't produce any output. I would ditch FXBus since I suspect it generates the clicks. How is it possible that k2lt works on a 64bit machine but src doesn't? Is Eugene compiling ProFX for 64bit when including them in x64 releases? Should I expect src to work at all? Thanks!

profx src included with 3550 x64 works fine for me on win7. in fact everything works fine, except media player classic ( hc or not ), but i suspect there's a problem with the player itself since any other player works fine
