LeMury, did you perhaps package the old version. During install, the version numbers were the same as the old and the plugin file dates are showning 2005-3-11 while the uninstall file date is 2005-4-19.

Thanks LeMury,
Something strange happened here - I stopped the mixer, installed, run the mixer and they were not there so I manually registered them. Then I saw that my current configs has been changed, i.e. "src" which was using Wave 0/1 was now using 7/8, some were using nothing, and similar stuff all around. I setup them as needed but all tests with for example music comes out as a distant sound with a lot of high-frequency noise which makes impossible to find out what you are hearing at all. Only the subwoofer seems intact, maybe because it's not able to output the noice

Thank you very much dear fellow. Looks all right, though the grey is kinda dead looking, but fantastic nonetheless! Hope in the final release you can include some help file for the ADC plug in cause I really dont understand how to use the mixer section, but I dont want to be without these new plugins because the Record Source section is the Bomb!

Thanx, Le Mury, this new grey design looks much better than red one =)
I havent tested a lot, but cant find any bugs still.
Whatabout making them (plugins!) not grey, but silver like real pro-devices..

1. Saved DSP setups & presets from older plugins are not always compatible.
Rebuild/adjust/save them.

2. SB022x 10k1 cards are not fully supported by kX driver, hence they are
not supported by ProFX plugins.
(Checkout Russ's sb022x plugin in the general section)

Hmm yes, AC97 device can be pretty complex especialy on sblives (10k1) were it takes care
of both analog input as well as (partial) analog output.

ADC controls the on-card AC97 codec and enables UDA device if available (only on 10k2 cards).
So ADC's operation is (almost) identical as kX Mixer's AC97 page.
I left out some useless stuff like 'video and TAD etc.' and added the seperate L&R recording feature.
The mixer section is AC97 device's Analog Mixer which is described in kX Help file.
(In contradiction to what some users think, the Level Controls on ADC do not attenuate/amplify digitaly in microcode. They control the Analog mixer sections *in* the AC97 device)
ADC's build in presets should provide some help/hints too.

Thanks for the reply... I thought it's supported because working fine with the old ProFX ones. I may try to make some combination, but I doubt I'll succeed

That is too Strange.
Which 'old ProFX ones' do you refer to?
The ones included in 3538 Driver release, or the previous ProFx Beta released in this thread?

Hello,

You have done great job. Thank you.

I have the following problem with AC97 Plugin.

here is what have i done:

enabled REC SOURCE
selected MIC:MIC
saved preset with that setting. mic in is ok.

reboot

VU meters at MX6 mixer show that no sound coming from MIC IN
at AC97 plugin MIC:MIC is selected.
i have to select AUX:AUX or something else then MIC:MIC and i got sound again.

It annoying to do that at every reboot.
Probably after load some card init is needed. or ac97 input init is needed.

@Datecs
I do not think the sb022x issue should effect the src plugin. My guess would be (as LeMury indicated) that your config is either incompatible with the new ProFX, or it got corrupted somehow. I would start by trying to reinstall ProFX (unistall/reinstall... and there shouldn't be any need to quit kxmixer) since you had problems with the installation. Then if you still have the problem, I would clear the DSP, and rebuild your config from scratch, and save it, and then check to see if it maintains it's settings beteen boots or reloads, etc.

Confirmed.
It is probably related to KXLT plugin. (ADC + Epilog seems ok)
I'll have a look. Thx for reporting this.

Glad you got it working, When you have a chance can you post your info in the sb022x thread in the General Forum that Eugene asked for (including specifc kx version i.e. 3538c vs 3538h, etc). It would help to have the info for the sb022x cards that do work as well as those that don't.

I have no such problem. Did you have to do anything specific to make the text do that?

Looks like the text background color doesn't get set properly.
It's transparant in your case.
What OS do you use?
Any specific display settings, custom color scheme?

PS;
I have sigs off, so I can't see users setup if any.

I have not been able to reproduce it either.
SUN, does it look exactly the same for you as it does in your picture (colors used, etc) or did you dither the picture to make it's size smaller, and the colors are not accurate? The reason I ask is because for me, the text background is white, and in your picture it is grey (and I tried different color settings for various windows objects and none seemed to effect the text background).

OOPS, that's bad 4 me...

Yes Russ, you are on the right way ;-) - i didn't saw this behavior...
Yes it's gray and the picture is the original screen-version...

I try 16/32bit and optimized 4 speed settings but nothing changes - btw. all other Soft looks perfect...

Hmm, i can live with this little thing... If i minimize it and maximize again - all looks good!

Please don't waste more time with this little error!

P.S.: LeMury, will you make it skinable?

Thanks,
SUN

I have installed last version and it works OK on my A2 Value. Colors are great, thank you :-)

I have only problems with installer. One should run installer as administrator or each user should run it separately? I installed ProFx as a user and then found, that as administrator I couldn't configure DSP.

Installer needs some workover.
In the mean time, in your case;
Use installer once, then register the (..\installpath\*.kxl) plugins manualy for each user.
That should work.

Aux 2 fixed

Hi LeMury,

I just wanted to let you know the problem I reported earlier about AUX2 in MX6 not working properly for me, has somehow been fixed in the latest update. It looks like I was the only one who had a problem so I guess it was not really a bug and you did not include it your bugfixed list so I guess I'm lucky and it just went away! Anyway, thanks very much for the great plugs! Oh yeah, and although I did like the red... the grey is nice too.

Temp

oh yes, running the plugins on a SB0090 FYI.
