DSP for Audio Editors(without ASIO)
How it is possible to adjust DSP, that record in Adobe Audition and others Audio Editors worked? I cannot write from a microphon/line input, and from a player (winamp). In Cubase SX - all right. Somebody can publish an example (picture) DSP? Please!

basically you need to use the WinMM Recording output in the ProFX outputs that will route your audio to the windows recording within windows. Good luck!

You will need to fiddle a bit with device properties, at least with SB0400; there seems to be a bit of error return and fallback going on with the interface. HQ does not work for me. 3Byte packed, try as WDM is probably the most stable. You should get a "recording as 24 bit" but likey not "float" in the bottom left (though I have seen it briefly). When you do an "Analyse/Statistics/ the result should show as float if the record length is more than a minute or so. I use the aux input but linein is much the same. With UDA on a SB0400 I get around 92db noise floor. Well at least above 1Khz, below 1Khz it is a lttle higher and with a preamp powered on the 1/f noise raises the floor (that is with a jfet op amp, bipolar would be lower but it is already lower than I need it. With a SB0400 I am forced to use the beta, I do not know if the interface from Audition to KX is more stable with the production release. |
