Hi LeMury!

Unbelievable, do you never sleep (thread time 4:44). BTW - your new synth is awesome. I will try it next few minutes after download . Sounds very well and I feel myself back-switched in time!!! Never thought, this can be done inside the DSP - do you wanna knock out all known similar vst(i)s?! You are straight on the way . Comments later. Greetings!

2 hours later...
So, some tests went okay, nice sounds - the mod / glide issue is a bit annoying, but you said it will be fixed. Automation of the sliders would be a nice feature - I think this will come at last.

Here is a sound sequence of a scientific machine , made with Asynth and E-FX ReverbStation: http://www.electricstart.de/sound/asynthseq.mp3

Pretty cool. I like that "Saw That Bass" tune. It sounds familair, but I cannot place it. Can you explain these Synth's for us non-keyboard people. Are the strictly for use with a midi keyboard, or can they be used, for example, as an instrument in a midi sequencer program, etc?

Nice "Alien trapped in Cave" sequence .

-Use kMode 'Norm2' instead untill I release an updated version.
(Norm2 is practicly the same to non-keyboard players I guess)

-Full Automation is planned of course.
However, keep in mind that not all sliders are suitable for 'Real Time' operation.
With 'Real Time' I mean; User can change control while playing without causing
audible pops&clicks, zipper noises and goes in effect immediatly.
Currently;
- Pitch Bend,
- Modwheel,
- Expression->Filter cutoff,
- Patch Volume
are 'Real Time' operatable controls.
These controls are all de-clicked (smoothed) as much as possible.
So we should destinct between 'Normal Automatable' and 'Real Time Automatable'.
Suggestions are welcome.

You can use such synths the same way as any other standalone midi application.
As dj-stick already pointed out; midi-yoke is an excellent tool(driver actualy)
to route midi data internaly.
So, no, these synths are not restricted to keyboard owning/playing people.

Possible bug:
When I try to unload the plugin, while the 'Tweak' window is still open, kxmixer hangs. I have to reboot in order to get kxmixer working again (ending task, does not work, as it hangs when you try and restart kxmixer).

okay. could we please get this for version 3537?

it would really really mean alot to me.

and if for future plugins - since many of us are still on 3537, solely because of UFX absence on 3538 - please compile them for 3537 too.

Asynth .mp3 is a great demonstration of the Anolog Synth! that last part with drums is increadible! Turely pro material! Thanks for this new synth LeMury! This is a great service for not only low income users, but the whole kX community, cause it's hardware based! Anybody who wants to save some cpu power can benefit from this professional sound quality instrument. Great bass sounds, man!!! So professional! You are the Man!!!!!!!!

Great playing and patch programing, too! Will try this out later cause I've been up all night, and I'm sleepy. hehe

Truely fantastic, you providing this for the kX community, and great playing! You are a kX programing pioneer LeMury. Youre going down in history, kX history, as an innovating kX programing pioneer. I'm very sure of that. You're so talented, you can be making commercial soft synths! I'm sure you know that, but thanks for doing this for us at no price.

What's next: "kX Sampler" with features like Kontakt, HALion or VSampler 3, including direct from disk streaming?

LOL just kidding. You really hooked us up with this one LeMury!

Oh, btw, LeMury, would it be possible to make your new ProFX and MX6 plugins compatible with 3537? I'm just wondering, cause with 3537 having support for the UFX pack (and not 3538.x), users could sure benefit from having your plugins work with 3537 .esp the ability obtained with the new AC97 plugin to easily record Mic and Line In input sources to separate tracks at the same time (one of the new features that I think marks kX so much better and powerful for music production than Creative drivers and software).

Moreover, since Windows 98 SE users and Windows ME users may be losing support for kX, if your AC97 plugin was compatible with 3537, those users of these older Operating Systems could have the ability to easily record Mic and Line in to separate tracks at the same time.

What are your thoughts concerning this, if you dont mind sharing them?

Firstly; Thanks for the 'flowers' Thomas. Much appreciated!

About 3537 or earlier;
If users ask me to down-compile plugins for them I generaly do that.
You may loose some 3538 specific features however.

Suggestion: is it possible to synchronize the LFO with MTC (MidiTimeCode), sent by a host application? And is it possible to have selectable LFO waveforms? This will improve the thing quite a lot ...

Yes, LFO MTC sync + different LFO wave forms should be possible.

does the minimoog have different lfo waveforms?

maybe it would be best to leave the synth as similar to the minimoog as possible...

LeMury for your next project i vote for juno 106 clone :>

Yes, the mini has diff lfo waveforms, but it uses (sacrifises) VCO3 for this.
(No MTC of course)

well 106 is just such a nice all-around synth. the pads are nice, the buzzing basses, ...

anyway, i just think it would be nice to have a poly synth too (in addition to the 2 mono synths we have now... well and your organ module which is also AWESOME!)

Okay, LeMury - cool to know . I would say, if you want to make clones from different earlier synths, it is the best to keep them as original as possible. My suggestions were only things I would find useful. I´ve not recognized that this could be a clone of anything, and for the MiniMoog I´m too young and I never had one... I´m happy that you have that many plans for creating synths for the future . CU!
