This is an AWESOME synth. I love triggering the kickdrum at the same time I am tweaking the frequencies between 200-6000hz :-) Lovely techie noises--way fun.
Does anyone else notice a small "tick" at the start of a kickdrum sound if you trigger it when the previous sound hasn't finished yet? If this can be confirmed, can it also be fixed, pretty please? :-) |

LOL, you can use KX as a synth player?..
i didnt know!! how do i go about playing instruments from the DSP? these drivers just keep getting better and better (and thats with the current driver set that i have 3537...i keep finding new stuff to play with and this is over the course of months...i wonder what the next versions will bring) |

the problem seems to be a conflict with logic/midiyoke

Anyway, we are working on a better MIDI solution for such 'kX DSP instruments' in the next driver release. (No more need for virtual midi ports like midiyoke etc.) /LeMury |

i'm aware of the midi implementation planned
but for some reason everytime i send midi data from logic through midi yoke i get a loopback error that also happened before my recent re-format

Yes, although I'm not an Logic expert, it seems to keep connecting midiyoke's ins to outs.
I've tried to change the midi enviroment setup, but to no avail. |

I was wondering why there were no more responses to this post!!!. Being a drummer, I thought this Analog Drum Machine was a fantastic achievement. Especially if you use the DSP. I have a pretty cool setup in DSP where I have the snare going to a Reverb with one setting (light) and the Hi Hat going to another Reverb slightly heavier. I didn't respond because I was too busy using the Drum Machine. Great work Lemury!!!!! I really hope you continue to develop KX DSP Instruments, ESPECIALLY DRUMS. This is too cool.

Yeah logic really hates midiyoke... you gotta edit win.ini and disbale all the midiyoke devices you don't need. For most cases, you shouldn't need any of the midiyoke input ports, only out.

Logic->Midiyoke outputport->Kx DSP instruments. Keep at least one of these enabled in win.ini
Midiyoke Input port->logic ... don't see a need for it. Diable all of them in win.ini and she'll run like a charm. Last edited by TheKezReturns; Jul 18, 2005 at 03:04 PM. |

Great work!!!
I have the same opinion like DJStick: Why spend lot of money (we shouldt donate it to Eugene and LeMury) for commercial Vst plugins, when we have (thanks to all kx programmers) tools like this? With the big advantage that they are integrated in kx: Just turn on your pc and your contollers and making music without starting any software.... BpM

MAN this is simply the best think on KX yet!!! how did you manage to make it so simple yet so real?!? i've been stuggling with my puredata analogue rythm machine but never managed to get such autentic sounds!!! you can do virtually anything from tr808 to tr909... YES even VERY 909-style hats can be achieved... soooooo punchy and clear!
this and the ASynth really made my day today i was rocking out with just that 2 modules and a few more hardware pieces the whole evening!!!thanks so much!!!
