Shortage of GPRs registers

I have a shortage of GPRs registers. How can I increase their amount?

If this problem has already been discussed, give me a link please =)

Audiocard: SB Live! DD 5.1

System Specs

You can't without changing your soundcard. It's a hardware limitation. Audigy 2 cards have about twice more ressources than soundblaster live cards. That's because audigy 2 cards use the emu10k2 chip and the soundblaster live uses the emu10k1 chip.
Some plugins use a lot of ressources. You have to unload other unnecessary plugins before using them.

For example, the Noise Canceller I just posted uses a lot of ressources. Probably too much to make it useful.

And what about Audidgy4 or X-Fi? How many registers are there?

The resource limations are based on which chip the card is based on (EMU10K1 or EMU10K2), and thus all cards that are based on the same chip will have the same resource limitations. As for cards that are not compatible with kX (like the X-FI), I do not know, but as they are not compatible with kX, it is not really relevant here.

When will KX drivers be able to support CA20K1-PAG processor (X-Fi)? SB0550 for example!?

I cannot speak for Eugene, but I doubt kX will ever support those cards. It all depends on how much information is available for these cards (as far as driver development goes), and what Eugene wants to do if in fact the necessary information is available.
