Midi from kX DSP plugin

Is it posible to generate MIDI messages to pass through to the kX synth MIDI port from within a DSP effect? I'd like to write a DSP plugin which triggers samples by listening to the audio passed through it

I just read some earlier posts on this forum, which did mention that generating MIDI from kX DSP would be very difficult. Another related question - if MIDI is really hard then sample triggering would do what I need, is it posible to allocate a TRAM buffer for a sample and load prerecorded data into in with a DSP/C++ effect programming combination?

Sample triggering from MIDI is VERY simple with soundfonts and the hardware synth.
