How to use iKXPluginManager?
Is it possible to use iKXPluginManager from an addon or a seperate program?
If so, what is the correct way to use it (to be able to use iKXPluginManager functions)? I have been able to use iKX this way, but have not been able to do the same with iKXPluginManager. Thanks, -Russ |

It is a C++ class in the kX SDK (i.e. used for programming, etc.).

To be more specific, iKX has an init() function that you use to get a valid pointer, etc. iKXPluginManager has no such function, so if I try to use it, (depending upon which function I call), kxmixer either crashes or gives an error.
What I was thinking is (if iKXPluginManager can be used this way), that it might be possible to make a simple application that could be used to open a plugin's tweak window using keyboard shortcuts. i.e. Pass the pgm_id of the plugin as a command line parameter and the program would call iKXPluginManager's tweak_plugin() function with that pgm_id to open the tweak window, etc. <edit> I know how to use iKXPluginManager from an addon, but I am still wondering if it is possible from a stand-alone application (obviously using kX API).
