Last night I was testing kX's synths and APS's synths (from oryginal drivers APS v1.6 for w2k). Here is my solution how to configure kX to sounds as good as APS does.

First download APS default setups for reverb and chorus:

(use save as)

Use APS Everb instead Reverb Lite.

And most important! - insert Phase plugin to SendsCD (default is FXBus13/14) as a first!
Phase's outl (FXBus13) connect to both reverb ins and Phase's outr (FXBus14) connect to both chorus ins.

Then just sum synths raw stream (default is FXBus2/3) with APS Everb outs and Stereo Chorus outs (do not use outrl and outrr Stereo Chorus outs!! ).
At last, synths raw stream volume may be maximal and there are no more distortion when effects streams appear
Surrounder is no more required

By this way, beautiful reverb and chorus with synths should appear
