Req: Noisegate(Stereo) for 3538j ???

Hi kx friends,

i look 4 a NoiseGate but - found none :-(

Any Source 4 me and my Audigy 2 Platinum eX???

The NoiseGate plugins (NoiseGate 2T and NoiseGate 2TS) are included with 3538j. If you are not seeing them, then maybe it did not install right. Try resetting global settings, or reinstall.

BTW: They are part of the kX FX Pack, maybe you accidentally unselected that option in the installer?

Hi Russ,

hmm - i updated and then resetted global settings with the FX Pack inst....
After your above answers i did this again - the same situation :-(

On installing it says: need 8,8 MB but i found in "Programme\kX Audio Driver\3538\"
5MB only (incl. kxfxlib.kxl - Lib only) - the rest were saved in "Windows\system32" incl. 8 Libs (incl. kxfxlib.kxl)

Now i doubleclicked them all - and surprise: 80 more plugins (only 40 before)!!!

You know, I had similair problems when I first installed. I ended having to completely clean kX off the system to get it to install right (I made sure the kX registry key was gone, and manually deleted all the kX stuff that was left behind in the various Windows directories (because DriverCleaner left a lot of stuff behind)). After I did this, it installed correctly. Other people had success with performing the full uninstall using the uninstall options of the kX installer (selecting to remove everything). Did you do a clean install?

No clean Install - no registry Fix aso... :-(

4 Years using this incredibly DRIVER in any combination with ASIO effects and Winamp DSP's may be enough Reasons to write this!
