Phase meter
Has anyone made a phase meter ?
even better has someone made a phase meter with audio levels on it like this? http://www.dk-technologies.net/products/product.php?type=MSD200C We use these at work but they are VERY expensive about $4000 US its alot cheaper to buy a computer and use a dsp plugin any ideas anyone?

hi
You can monitor the phase and the levels with steinberg wavelab 5 in realtime through ASIO inputs. (8 channel) http://home.sch.bme.hu/~diehappy/wavelab.jpg I don't know about any dsp plugin to monitor phase. bye Zola |

depending on the analyis algorythms required, i'm not sure if the DSP can handle such a task

That unit mentioned a 1024 point FFT - which I *thought* I've read could NOT be done with KX DSP only. I also thought I read; a DSP that operates in a freq. domain and not a time domain would be more suited for such functions.
Paraphrasing from memory: Only a few points would be possible (with KX DSP alone) - which for most is not really usable. |
