Default Post How about a section for via 4 in 1 drivers ?

NT

I think it would be good .. lots of beta's come out and it could be a good place to discuss performance and issues ( which ther e are alot with via chipsets )

I don't know about a section only for VIA, but maybe a motherboard drivers discussion.

One problem with that is that many motherboards provide many sub components like audio, video, NIC's and modems. And its not unique there are only a few integrated chipset makers opposed to many motherboard makers.

Sites like http://www.amdmb.com already provide good quality forums for AMD based solutions. I'm sure that there are equivalent Intel based ones too.

Cause it started out going to be a forum for support for mine/omega's radeon drivers and his upcoming nvidia drivers, and we just added on to it i guess, LOL.

(serious answer) drivers are the basis and the core of the forum, but I think it would be a little bland if it was solely to do with drivers. There are other sections, for lighthearted chat, discussion and debate, an important part of any online community.

Don't get me wrong, the other sections are vitaly important. But the original question was posed to someone who was questioning the legitimatcy of adding a further driver related forum. (no offence intended there), hence the sardonic response.

Actually, I enjoy the other forums just as much!
