hotel IP blocked?

having trouble connecting from my laptop at the hotel.
Since yesterday I cannot connect from my wireless connection to Driverheaven. I switched the bridge twice and flushed the cookies and anything cached and was unsuccessful reconnecting.
I was only able to connect this a.m. from my desk here at Offutt AFB...
is it possible that my IP is blocked from the hotel wireless server?
I didnt ping it, electing to just say "the heck with it" . But does that sound plausible?

Are you saying you're blocked from the hotel wireless, or the hotel wireless is blocked from DH?

It's highly plausible the hotel is banned from DH, then again stud muffin it's highly plausbile they've banned you from the hotel wireless as well

I'm guessing the IP your posting from now, judgind from the host nae is the military base. If you want to PM me your address that seems to be blocked I'll look into it as best I can, and if I can't figure anything out, find someone who can

well. I have placed over an hour and a half of trouble calls to the Golden Tree network that hosts here, and they just do a soft reboot of the server and it seems to correct the problem for a moment and after ten minutes the system goes down. I think people are stealing bandwidth really, shoot I dont know....very frustrating..couldnt send data out for my monthy report....very frustrating.

ah...if it isn't just DH causing issues, then I can't help ya.

I'm surprised they don't have everything capped over there, to be honest. most hotels have it pretty well locked down....so that, like, if network is over 40% load you can go XX kbps, if its over 50% XX kbps, etc

Well, the young lady I have been speaking to is obviously working in a country other than the U.S. LOL...
I have one more day here then I jet...
I am not on my fourth bridge now and it seems stable, but she was surprised when I told her about the list of wireless networks available. I had my hotel, then a hotel that was directly next door, and several other wireless networks too, she was surprised.
Either way, at least I can post my hours and submit a report now.
