Is it ok to start a thread requesting donations for a registered charity I work for? It would include links to the main site and the donations area.

Just want to make sure I don't fall foul of DH rules (spam threads etc).

I think that would be considerd advertising bud. Even for a charity.

Edit: You should probably describe the charity in a thread and ask any interested to PM you for the site.

Sorry, while this is for a good cause, once we open this to one person, then another 50 will also want it. This is why the rules are in place - not because we like being awkward but for a very good reason.
