DH Notice: Computer Spec Profile UPDATED

We've updated the options available to members for posting their computer specifications in their profile information. This enables other members to see what computer you are using, and is extremely helpful when trying to get support from our members and staff.

If you've not already got an account, sign up HERE If you're a member and want to setup your profile, so your computer spec shows when you post a message click HERE

I think i read on another thread a while back that there is an option allowing you to view profile/sig along the top horizontally but I'm not sure....

I've been trying to figure that out as well 'cos it does take up space. But I think it is more useful to have the info displayed in profile. Thanks DH.

What fields did you add to the descriptors? I can't remember what it was like before you made the change.

This is good because even if someone has SIGNATURE VIEWING turned off, people can still read your PC specs, right?

Is it ok to put the info in both your sig and that side column thing?

I guess we're limited to one OS only now... Why not make that an editable input, so we can fill w/e we want? (I'm thinking about various Linux distros)

I am running Vista Ultimate 64bits and surprisingly have no problems at all, unlike the RC2 which the Beta testers all said was completely useless so MS must have really pulled out the stops on it.

there were originally no PSU or OS options mate

they've just recently been added
