exclamation DH Review?

There is a link to CoolIT Systems in an overcloking thread posted on DH this week.

On the linked page there is a box (right hand side, second down) with a rolling list of 'reviews', many of which seem a little questionable.

Amongst the reviews is one with the FULL DH logo above it:
Quote:
"...please join me for another ‘wish I thought of that sooner’ moment ... "—James (Rasta Monsta) Gregory, DriverHeaven
Just wondering if this was legal as the implication is that DriverHeaven is giving their products full backing (and are they allowed to use the logo?).

Maybe DH is backing CoolIT and I am wrong in which case I apologise. Just thought I'd pass on my concerns.

Thanks for the link. However we have never looked at "the eliminator" cooler only the freezone which the quote is from over here http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/CoolIT/index.php

The quote is under a "coolit reviews" table on the right but it doesnt appear to be directly linked to the eliminator product on the review page - more a generalised quotes section..... quite confusing I agree.

That's definitely a black mark against them as far as I'm concerned. The review quoted bu CoolIt deosn't provide a link to the reviews to enable the potential customer to see the quote in its full context within the review. All the other reviews that they show could also be somewhat misleading. The DH review did refer to various factors such as CoolIt not advertising correctly any incompatability problems. Looks like a pattern and policy of poor advertising and trading standards to me. Mis-informing the general public to increase sales.

I could not buy anything from a manufacturer who deliberately tries to hoodwink and mislead the public. I for one wouldn't trust them. I won't buy from a company who would treat me with such disdain.

yes I agree regarding the way they are handling the review quotes and I understand your views. I, however have no control over their website.

You can email them and state your concerns, whether they will actually listen is another story however.
