New DH Site skin

Many of you by now will have seen the new default skin on Driver Heaven. So you are all aware for the next 2 weeks Driver Heaven is helping Intel promote their Gaming C2E processors. We are trialing some new forms of advertising with selected, high profile, high quality companies we work with. There will be only a handful of companies who we rate as the best in their field. We also feel that intel right now are in an extremely strong position to offer our members some great products across the board, whether it is for enthusiast gamers or business users, so we hope this advertising scheme is not only extremely attractive, but genuinely useful to all you guys. Going on feedback we also know that most of you hate ad banners and other forms of advertising which interfere with forum browsing, so we are keen to try alternative campaigns.

It is extremely important i point out that it is only the site skin Intel are sponsoring, all our reviews and articles fall distinctly outside this area, and we pride ourselves on honest, fair and unbiased editorial content.

might actually be changing skins for the first time in years, which is a bit scary.
kinda miss the green blocks for the rep points though, the ticks don't stand out enough.

Very cool colours, very nice skin. My only slight problem is that I find it harder to easily see which threads have new messages.
Would it be possible to make the blue colour for new messages a bit brighter?

looks nice and clean. the bar at the top is one small minus from me... it's colors don't work for me... but what is perfect in this world ??

Awesome skin... this was is staying for me. Also that graphic would look way better with a section of ground under his feet with a shadow!

Ah about time....i now have a dh skin that matchs both my pc and my current desktop theme.

No problems with it so far appart from the rearanged placement of the Forum/User Cp/Forums tags.But it will grow on me.

I don't know if this is how its supposed to be on the front page with this theme.I'm not seeing any of the usual links to the forums/Search/Members etc...is this normal or some error.

They are there when you click Offtopic via the Recent threads.

Pretty nice change in scenery, Unfortunatly it seems to slow down my forum browsing.

*Edit* Midnight Heaven seems to do the same. No biggie, Ill stick with Tech.

looks very nice. only two complaints, first being that clicking on the DH logo doesnt bring you back to the main site anymore. second is that the post boxes seem to be changing sizes at random, or they still continouesly shrink with each post on the page (havnt seen that nearly as much as i still am with cyborgheaven)

Ive temporarly disabled the flash ads and the site again is lightning quick no matter which skin im using.

Suits me to a T. After using Midnight Heaven since it first became available, this is a nice change.

MIG: All my Search buttons and such are showing....was it not fixed when you posted?

Also, I also miss the link to the Front Page by clicking on DriverHeaven in the upper left of the screen. Not a biggie, though, as I can still click in the Driverheaven.net link in the next line.

All the links are still working fine within the forums.I still don't ANY Tags showing on the front page.

I've tried clearing my cache (BTW IE7) etc.I still have to go via the recent threads to gain access to the forums.

In the mean time i have diverted back to Pureheaven.. i hope these issues are sorted out as i like the new theme.

The other minor issue i have noticed.If a news post is on the front page (appart from the source url) these show as normal text but alters once i hover the curser over the link.Under all the other themes these are either Bold or Underlined.I can't see if these are selectable links.This for me is an important part for news..

You will see from this image highligted between the two red marks.That is actually a clickable url.In all themes it's shows appart from this new one.It's not obvious to those who may not be aware.

yeah its not meant to on that particular theme, it links to intels gaming site.

havent seen that (if you have further information on that with screenshots. browser info etc, drop them over to craig5320), however they will change sizes if images are in them.

Like the clean layout with not so much fluff/dead space in between posts. Now with the cyborg heaven colors I'd be stuck.
