I am wondering why there are many users in the forums get banned especially in competitions

To be perfectly honest this place is very lenient on most people here, so it takes quite the infraction to earn a ban.

Needless to say if someone has "banned" as their tag, they deserved it.

It's questions like that, that make me get my ban stick out!

Only kidding, most users that are banned are spammers who post the usual NOKIA, IPHONE, N-SERIES $300 etc etc topics, and we just ban them outright, if it's a competition again they've probably spammed it, or attempted to use multiple registrations to gain an advantage which is something else we will ban for.

Luckily for you, we don't ban people who question our ban motives
